So, I’d like to scan at 4000×4000 pixels so I have room to zoom in if wanted.

I have a friend with this printer and I can use it: https://www.find-printers.com/printers/manufacturers/pos/brother_mfc-490cw

Can i do that with this printer? It only lists DPI in its specs, saying that it’s scanning resolution is 1200×2400 dpi and the enhanced resolution is 19200×19200 dpi. Will this do?

I guess I’m wondering matematically how it works. I just feel like everytime I want to do a split screen, there should be some formula I use to determine what to do instead of putzing around to figure it out.

Yeah, I’m just all alone here and I’m following someone who’s moving around alot. Between the camer and the sound, i cant do reflectors (I’m aware the setup isnt ideal. C’est la vie.)

i was using these settings but the image, when i watched tonight, seemed to lose a lot of detail:
Detail +2
V Detail +2
Coring -2
Gamma: HD Norm
Matrix: Cinelike
DRS: +2

720p, either 30fps or 60fps. i dont know why it doesnt seem to be working, and that’s a shame cause it seems like a great way to check focus! i hit 1:1 mapping, and the screen doesnt change size. nothing seems to happen.

i think you convinced me.

That said, I still want to shoot in 60fps when i can so i have the option of slo mo. Is it easy to turn 60fps into 30fps?

I must be using it wrong. When i try that mode, the image on the screen doesn’t seem to be a smaller, zoomed in version of what I had previously. In fact, it doesn’t look different at all. Any idea what mistake i could be making?

I just vastly prefer 24fps. And given the fact the movie is just focused solely on one person, i actually think the shift between different frame speeds might be aesthetically good. we shall see….
