Anyone got tips for using a SmallHD DP6?
I just got a SmallHD DP6 external monitor for use with my HMC-150. I’m wondering if anyone who uses this has some advice for someone who is going to be using it. Anything at all!

I like to use the 1-to-1 pixel mapping to check critical focus.

I must be using it wrong. When i try that mode, the image on the screen doesn’t seem to be a smaller, zoomed in version of what I had previously. In fact, it doesn’t look different at all. Any idea what mistake i could be making?

720p, either 30fps or 60fps. i dont know why it doesnt seem to be working, and that’s a shame cause it seems like a great way to check focus! i hit 1:1 mapping, and the screen doesnt change size. nothing seems to happen.

I know exactly why nothing is happening. The screen of the DP6 is natively 720×1280 resolution, so you are already seeing a 1-to-1 pixel view of your video! If you were shooting 1920×1080, however, you would be able to zoom in because you’re working with more resolution.
