I’ve had success exporting AAFs into AE. AAF import is a new feature in v7 of AE.
If you want to use OMFs you have to use the automatic duck — which we have in house and it has saved us on numerious occasions…

Network renders can be a pain to set up, but when they are set up right they cook.

You need to collect all the files to EACH machine to optimize them. Then the computer does not have to look to the network for the reference files — which creates a lag. Have the output to the SAME folder on the network, with the ‘skip existing frames’ option enabled.

Keyframe the position and scale, and mask off certain letters so the dove appears to be flying ‘through’ the text.

Look over your manual also, it’ll explain the different effects and concepts.

Sometimes its easier just to use the real thing. If a Realflow simulation was set up for that, it would have been a workhorse to make it look real.

Does anyone know if it is real beer?
