Just had the same problem. Wound up batch converting using squeeze in OSX. Sorenson 3 codec = very good stuff
Or you can buy RAYLIGHT (https://www.dvfilm.com/) which is a codec converter thing. (I’ve never used it so I’m not saying buy it..its just rumored to solve the promblem)
I was at a shoot last night and the sound guy told me that he was working on a project the other week where there was no problem with the P2 cards and importing the data into the PC environment. NO IDEA why it worked then, and it hasn’t worked with me or you.

Those options are available when you uninstall.
You can uninstall ALL OF IT, or just most of it. Depends on what you pick.I use OSX, but I’ve had to do that on my macbook/winpro system.

As long as you have a dual core/quad core machine and between 2-8 gigs of memory (thats what we have in the office…) IT FRIGGIN RULES for the money.

Nucleo and nucleo pro both recognize “skip existing file” commands.
I’m doing that as I type this crossing my fingers to meet a deadline.I am not using the network render/find folder commands.
I have run it cross platform between Windows/OSX/Rosetta/Intel with Windows installed machines all working together and I have had sucess.
Nucleo/Nucleo pro is worth its weight in gold when you use it in a network…. -
I believe either way works. It is breifly discussed in the manual. Embedding it is a little easier though because then it can’t get lost in translation….
The names of the layers will be all sorts of stupid though, thats the one part that doesn’t translate. But the footage will be cut up nicely in layers. 0ur editor would export them and then send them to me for animation/AE stuff.
