Is it a problem that the adrenaline is trying to read the firewire drive as a media drive?
The house we’re working with isn’t transfering it to their hard drive.

The audio imported PERFECT, but the video was off by quite a few frames.

You’re saying we should just copy/relink the media directly onto the hard drive….?

Especially when you were anticpating the mastering process to color correct it.

Its worth it. I was a beta tester and I’ve been using it for a few months. Even though you won’t have the core advantage, your renders will speed up about 50%.

I loaded the beta version on one of our machines (dual 2.7 4.5 gigs of ram OS10.4) and the increase was about 50%. I’m running Pro on a quadcore 2.5 with 8 gigs of memory, and it smokes, and I have nucleo standard on my dualcore Macbook pro with 2 gigs of memory running Windows XP pro, somehow the laptop keeps up with the quad until it comes to MASSIVE scenes, and then I memory out. (Btw — I say scenes because I’m working on an animated series — and we needed a way cut our render times down from around 24-36 hours without opening the network — so I tried nucleo and it solved the problem)

However, I’ve come to realize the strongpoint of the softwarae is the Background render — you can just keep loading the queue and keep rendering all bloody day.

You should have bought it two months ago, when it was only 300 bucks.

    Done poorly?

I thought they executed it very well.
Well enough to stump enough people at this website.

    Stamp as in —

Filmed green screen with trackers. We need to stamp the trackers. I’m more comfortable with .film files in photoshop, but I don’t know if there is a frame by frame stamp option in AE….
Or remove items from a filmed backdrop.

I don’t understand why you don’t just use particular as a plane emitter (or very short and wide box…) and throw the auxilary system on it?
Set the amount of auxilary to a HUGE number and it’ll give you that ‘sperm’ look you’re going for. Colorize/glow/add some dof and it’ll look nice.

  • WHen I run AFX 7 on my macbook pro running the WINDOWS boot version, it crashes maybe 50% of the time.
BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH CRASH. Anyone else get this?

Go into your secret presets and make sure to flush the cache on EACH frame…
