Hey guys
Just got some footage sent back because it was not within the spectrascope guidelines.
I don’t quite understand it, but allegedly my blacks need to be at 7.5, and my whites can’t exceed 250. (that makes some sense to me….)Is there anyway I can automate this out of AE? I figure if we shift ALL of it, it’ll proportion out.

Check Aharon’t tutorial on getting broadcast safe colors, it shows how to limit color space without loosing too much fidelity. Anyway, video levels suck nonetheless, don’t they? ;o)

Especially when you were anticpating the mastering process to color correct it.

The mastering process just masters whatever source you give it. Whether that’s color corrected, or super hot.
