How do you make that interlaced/video look like in The Ring?
Posted by Chris Dukes on August 23, 2006 at 4:29 amMeaning, when the girl comes out of the TV. I like that it looks interlaced but still has depth to it. Thanks.

August 23, 2006 at 5:24 amDo a search on this forum. There are about a bazillion posts on how to create “scanlines” and “surveillance cameras”. Explaining it again would really mean flocking a dead horse…

August 23, 2006 at 3:35 pmI like flocking a dead horse better. The thought of a swarm of necrotic equine sounds more fascinating then just whipping one on the ground. With Mylenium’s cool German accent, any word sounds appropriate.

August 23, 2006 at 5:16 pmJust telling me to check out the previous posts or something similar without the jack ass flaming because you’re bored and desperately want to prove you’re clever. Read a book, get some air, just stop being a jerk.

August 23, 2006 at 5:18 pmThanks for the proper terms, now I know what to look for. Just remember, not everyone has been reading the board as long as you.

August 23, 2006 at 6:01 pmYou are both so right… Well, what can I say, it was 7 o’clock in the morning and my brains weren’t at full operating temperature yet… ;o)

August 23, 2006 at 6:05 pmThat maybe so, but as the new guy on the block, we would appreciate that you took the time to be so polite as to do a search before posting questions. It is also way out of line to accuse other people of being jerks, especially such hardened veterans as Chris and Nicholas. All it will get you eventually is to get banned here and then you are stranded with one less opportunity to meet interesting people and learn something.

August 23, 2006 at 6:12 pm[Mylenium] “flocking a dead horse”
…and as we all know, flocking a dead horse is illegal in most parts of the world.
I believe that Mylenium mean “FLOGGING” a dead horse…but that too is illegal in some places.
I couldn’t resist…
