Would it be possible to see a picture of which 1/8″ mic connector you are using for your rode mic? Seems to be one of those cables where you can plug multiple 3.5mm sized mic audio aux right? If its not working, maybe confirm if where you are plugging it to is actually used for the mic and not for headphones cause both inputs looks exactly the same but one of them is specific for plugging your mic using 3.5mm. If it were a USB mic however, it wouldn’t matter which USB ports you put it in, it will still work the same way 🙂 Hope to hear back from you soon!

If you are in Android, go to the Play Store and search for “Canon Remote Shutter Release”, there seems to be Canon Camera Connect apps but I would test them out and see if they are compatible with your Canon Camera device model. Good luck.

July 4, 2023 at 4:40 pm in reply to: Creative Cloud Won’t Open (I did my homework)

Not sure if you resolved this issue by now but just incase, after all the list of things you tried and seems nothing you do works… My question would be what are the specs for your computer? Cause I believe the minimum requirements to run Creative Cloud is as follows:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/operating-system-guidelines.html

If it still does not work, perhaps there is some sort of strange file located on your computer that is preventing the application from opening. try scanning for viruses, disk cleanup, make sure you have plenty of free space on your hard drive as well! Could be some sort of weird hardware issue going on too. Hope it helps!

I believe its possible to edit a repeater within After Effects, I found a good video that may help you understand more on what you may need. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiNizEBtrSQ Hope it helps! 🙂

July 4, 2023 at 4:28 pm in reply to: Premiere Pro 2022 Issue

2021 16″ MBP M1 Max is the specs of your computer? And if your timeline is very laggy when running, its likely your specs on your computer, most likely the RAM. The question would be, how many RAMs you have on your machine. Also CPU/GPU is also a factor for Premiere Pro to do the playback well. But if anything, you can pre-render the whole timeline first and then when you play it, it should play as it should with no lags. Hope to hear back from you soon! 🙂

  • I also have very limited knowledge in After Effects as well and sometimes I prefer a lot more to edit sound clips in Premiere Pro or Sony Vegas directly. I believe whats going on is that the audio clips edited in After Effects are using different resources and functions within After Effects that are not available in Adobe Premiere Pro even if they are both made by the same company. After Effects is mostly used for advanced graphics that may seem limited to Adobe Premiere Pro cause its a dedicated Video Editing software even if some graphics can be integrated in it but not its main focus. Thats probably why you are unable to import the audio in Premiere Pro as is from After Effects, its a theory but I have ran into compatibility issues before between applications, even different versions of the same one. No 2 applications are made the exact same.

That is awfully strange and you said you have all the resources on a flash drive. But which flash drive are we talking about here? And yeah, as the previous guy said, I would have them all stored in the main drive on my computer or the backup one. That’s what I do to prevent this from happening and I do not have to move anything from there. Question is if the flash drive is integrated or if you use it externally? Hope you can figure this out soon!

June 27, 2023 at 5:21 pm in reply to: Individual Characters Self Writing

Working with text layers from Premiere Pro and Sony Vegas Pro, if you do plan to have each individual letters appear one at a time like if its writing, then perhaps you will need to make a text layer for each letting and that will take a lot of video tracks so they can all appear at the same time. The other way I can think of without going through that hassle is to find a way for a full text word/sentence fade in from left to right slowly using a special effect. Not sure how it works on After Effects but I believe I have seen people on YouTube use this effect before.

This is what I found that can help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ii5ougA3yHE

June 22, 2023 at 4:34 pm in reply to: 5K project. How to speed AE

5K’s aspect ratio is 5120 × 2880 and when you stretch the image from 1920 x 1080 to that, it will end up pixelated because for example, a 1080p video works for the 1920 x 1080 aspect ratio. It can fit that size perfectly. If you are trying to render it to a screen of 3 times the size, expect a pixelated image. Its just like if you rendered a smartphone sized quality to 1080, stretching it out does not look as well since it has to extend more pixels to make the screen expand to one screen and it does not look the best in the end. Hope it helps!

June 22, 2023 at 4:30 pm in reply to: Mixing up Files

It seems to me at least that the layers from After Effects on how that works is not exactly the same as in Photoshop, even if they are both from Adobe, it seems to work a bit differently from the small amount of time I was working with layers on Adobe After effects. I would suggest if nothing else work, redo all the layers you did in Photoshop but in After Effects after saving each individual layers from Photoshop to certain formats, then pass them over to your After Effects layers. Hope it helps and good luck!
