Question, does it automatically seperate the layers once you pass the RAW video in the timeline? At least in Premiere Pro for example, you can add a raw video in the timeline and add effects like these within the video itself directly. Seems After Effects operates differently.

I am not so sure if this would help but this tutorial I found shows the ways on how to view multiple compositions at once in After Effects: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnCC33UpIMQ . If it does not work or glitches, try closing AAE, turn off your computer, restart and reopen AAE to see if you are able to view the main/sub comps the way you are intending to.

July 13, 2023 at 3:09 pm in reply to: Extendscript Text Casing/Font Problem

That is very odd seeing the “H” in “The” having a different font and boldness compared to the rest of the text, if everything else is set correctly with the font, size and boldness like you said, have you tried just highlighting the letter “H” and changing the text, size and boldness to the same settings? Perhaps it can pinpoint what is the font its currently using in that H. If not, try closing the program and maybe restart your computer. Then reopen the application to see if it goes back to normal if its set as its supposed to be originally. Hope it helps!

As the previous person said, I use the Pan/Crop tool a lot in Sony Vegas Pro, and I found a tutorial video here that can help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGSpvkPdHYM

July 13, 2023 at 2:59 pm in reply to: How to Find Premiere Pro Editors in my City

Not sure which city you are from but if you are seeking for a video editor for Premiere Pro, perhaps I can be of help. Do you happen to have a Discord account where we can discuss details further?

  • That is pretty strange there, maybe it can be a glitch whenever you import a video/audio file. And since you said it works on your Windows 7 well, if you are running this on Windows 10/11, it should not have the compatibility issue. Vegas Pro 16 was released on August 2018 so Windows 10 should be perfectly compatible. Would be nice to know which Windows OS you were running that. If it still giving issues, maybe uninstalling and reinstalling it can install all the proper .dll and other resource files necessary to run Sony Vegas Pro 16 as intended and not have the import audio issue. Hope this helps and best of luck!

  • Sounds like you may have to install certain codecs that should allow you to use other file formats within Vegas Pro. There was a time that it did not even read MP4 files and I had to download a codec for vegas Pro seperately in order for Vegas Pro to accept those file formats.

So perhaps this video can help if you need Vegas to accept .MOV files: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE2-FQ-H2sk

  • Have you also tried double clicking on the video preview window on the top right section? That can bring up the blue bounding box for cropping other than clicking motion in the Effect Controls. I did noticed double clicking the video clip on timeline will open a video source screen on the top left so it does not use Blue Bounding. So the first 2 options I mentioned should still be able to bring it up, if its not working or its glitching, I suggest closing the app and reopening it. If not that, restart the computer. If those 2 fails, uninstall and reinstall Premiere Pro to see if it fixes that issue. Good luck!

Seems that you will be importing a URL from the LOTTIE animations website to your after effects. Here is a video I found online that I can help shed light on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5YAL5OvZWw Hope it helps! 🙂

The process of important depends on the length of the animation you are importing.

July 9, 2023 at 5:16 pm in reply to: Removing JPEG artifacts

Go to Filter -> Neural Filters and then go to where it says “JPEG Artefacts removal. If its not yet downloaded, go ahead and download it. Its a pretty quick process. Then check the Strength settings for this. Highly recommend it to always set it to high 🙂

Here is the source where I learned to do it recently myself for visual context: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcWR6B5_W88
