  • Try using the Type tool to create a text box which will constrain the text to a specific area…click and drag the Type tool to create the box.

    Hardware acceleration is:
    Control Panel>Display>Screen Resolution>Advanced Settings>Troubleshoot>Change Settings

    If you have to turn it down very far to fix the problem, your video card may not be working correctly.

    Try updating video card drivers, if that fails turn down hardware acceleration for the video card.

    It is possible that your audio is sitting on V4, out of sight, scroll down and have a look.
    It is also possible that your audio is Doldy and Premiere cannot import it without a easy “fix”. Close Premiere, from the Encore program folder copy ad2ac3dec.dll to Premiere/s program folder and try again.

    It is likely your system has an issue preventing complete capture. I think the placeholder does not represent all the frames dropped. HDV is Mpeg which does not have frames but GOPs which contain a number of frames.
