Hey guys, I am capturing 20 full days of footage, and I would just like to know, is there a way to capture the footage without having to listen to it? I’d love to be able to play music or something while doing other work on my computer while adobe is taking in DV tapes. I can’t stand listening to the speaker talk!

    Thanks!

Doing ANYTHING else while capturing is a recipe for dropped frames/disaster!

Sure can. Project, Project Settings, General, DV capture settings. Mike is right tho, doing anything else while capturing can cause dropped frames. Not trying to be a hypocrite or anything because I am doing the same thing right now 🙂 but i have a multi core system with 12 Gb RAM. Just saying I would never try this on my old computer.
