  • Scrolling title word-wrap issue in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5

When creating titles I’m having an issue where I have to manually cut and paste each line into the credits to keep it from scrolling into a really wide box.

Is there a fix for that? I can’t find a solution anywhere, and I’ve tried all kinds of workarounds….enabling/disabling word wrap in the Premiere Title Function, enabling/disabling word wrap in my Word doc, striping out all the formatting before pasting in, etc.

Does anyone know a fix for this, either involving doing something to the text on the clipboard before pasting into the program, or doing something in the NLE?

I did a project with an editor working in Avid once and I recall it had the same problem.

    Thank you!
    Michael

Try using the Type tool to create a text box which will constrain the text to a specific area…click and drag the Type tool to create the box.
