Brad, I’m glad I was able to help. I forgot about the new (and useless) numbering system that Vegas now uses. Glad you used color bars as that’s where I got the numbers from.

Pure red is s a definite no no.
Set it to 180-16-16 and you’ll be fine. -
Click and drag Border to the left so that it’s first, not second.

Drop a marker at the beginning and end of each segment you need timed.
Then do as Tyson suggested but change Events in part b to Markers. -
Add an event (what Vegas calls a clip) to your timeline.
Right click it, select Properties, switch to the Media tab, change the Alpha channel to the desired setting and then click the floppy disc icon next to the Stream line as shown below to save the selection.
All events like this will automatically come in the same way.
Be advised that if you bring in something different (for example, a PNG file instead of a TGA file), you’ll have to repeat this process.

Use your mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out on the timeline at the desired location.

What Grazie (Graham) is saying is that your project file and your rendered files are two completely different things.
The project file contains all the information about the assets used in the project but that’s it.
You need to render your project into something that DVD Architect will accept and that is usually two files, an MPEG-2 for your video and an AC-3 or WAV (i.e. PCM) for your audio.
Give both the same name (e. myvideo.mpg and myvideo.ac3) and render them both to the same folder. That way, when you load your video file into DVD Architect, the audio file will automatically follow.
