PiP w/ Border in Vegas 12
I’ve been trying to find a way to apply the border FX to a pan/cropped PIP setup so that the border is around the PIP rather than it bordering around the whole screen. The only thing I’ve found so far is to click on a small triangle to toggle it, but there isn’t one. I suspect that this was the case in older versions of Vegas but in 12 it is different.
It could simply be that I am blind. I’ve included a screen capture of my video FX window.

Click and drag Border to the left so that it’s first, not second.

I can’t see where or how you’ve applied your PiP, but this is what I got and how I did it:
