I just tried it and it works for me.
Are you sure you did a “right-click – copy”?
If that doesn’t work, try either Ctrl-C on the first clip or use the Copy icon in the tool bar. -
Sorry Allen but an uninstall/reinstall is the only way to roll back to a previous version. It’s fairly quick and painless though.

Donna, Vegas has been doing 24p since version 4 and does it extremely well. Check out the white paper (PDF format) on the Sony site called 24p and Panasonic AG-DVX100 and AJ-SDX900 in Vegas and DVD Architect as it does a good job of explaining things.

Leaving out the fact that certain DVD players can handle formats such as Divx, MPEG-2 is still the format to use for DVD authoring.
DVD -R used to be the preferred format but, these days, unless you’re dealing with a much older player, most players will handle both -R and +R without any problem.

Insert a new track over top of your video.
Put black on this track (Generated Media – solid color).
Now use either Pan/Crop or Track Motion to position it accordingly.
This way you don’t have to worry about ‘constrain aspect’ or anything else. -
I’ll bet that your drive is formatted as FAT-32 instead of NTFS.
Change it and you’ll be fine.
If this is your system drive, then I’d strongly recommend picking up a second drive (they’re cheap these days so get a 500 GB, either internal or external) and make sure it’s formatted as NTFS before you use it. -
Definitely scan them. You can do much more with Pan/Crop than you could ever do with a video camera (unless you have a computer controlled motorized head, that is).
If you don’t want to do any zooming in, set your scanner to 150 dpi.
My rule of thumb is 1″ = 100 pixels so a 5″ x 3″ image would be 750 pixels x 450 pixels which is close enough to video resolution of 720 x 480.
If you want to do some zooming in on an image, figure out how much and set your scanner accordingly.As far as 4:3 or 16:9, it’s a simple function of matching the image’s aspect ratio to the project setting. This is a right-click option in the Pan/Crop window or can be done with a script

I bought Vol. 2 of Digital Juice a few months ago and am quite pleased with it. If you can afford it, buy Vol. 1 as well as I found that, while there are a LOT of FX in Vol. 2, there were still a lot missing that I would’ve liked to have.
They still have the package deal on allowing you to get Vol. 1 for $199 (reg. $349) if you buy Vol. 2 at the same time.I still plan to eventually buy the Sony library because it has a lot of sounds that DJ doesn’t.
