Did you do an uninstall first before the 3.0.5 upgrade? I would do that than reinstall and see what happens.

Open timeline refers to different formats all playing together as long as they are all the same frame rate – in your case, your format is the same, but the frame rates are different. Is there sync audio? Do you need to keep the 50p footage the same lenth or do you want a 2x slomo when in 25p?

Correct – we only pass through the ASC SDL vaues created by a color system that can translate video type values into slope, power, etc. which is what is covered in the v1 spec. The idea is that over time we would provide an interface that linited the color correction to what is described in the ASC CDL to be able to pass that information along.

The ASC values are only passed through as per the v1 EDL specification as defined by the ASC. This reflects the look that is baked into the dailies as viewed in the offline. Changes in color correction do to apply as an offset to those values in the EDL. Although planned, it is not on an engineering roadmap at this time.

The EDL gives the DI process a starting point as seen in the offline from the original dailies.

A recapture of the same clip will respect the Pullin log of the original clip so that should be the same. Is the connection or I/O different from the first and second captures?

Are you editing at 23.976 and 48kHz? The encode should take this with no problem. Make sure the encoder is set to add pulldown flags for the 2:3 insertion back to NTSC during play.

Once you modify the seauence from NTSC 23.976 to 720p/23.976, do a decompose ans make sure that source video format for those clips is really DVCPRO.

Highlight the clips you want updated, select ALL, import the ALE with the merge option for know sources. Clips will inherit all the information from the ALE – but all fields will be updated so be sure that is what you want first before doing it.
