partially importing an ALE
Hi,
I’m wondering if it’s possible to partially import an ALE file. What I mean by this is let’s say you want to update a pre-existing bin with new info so that you can re-digitize the bin. Let’s say you have changed the Sound TC’s on the tape- that information goes in the ALE, so you’d need to update it in the bin before you can re-digitize with the new TC.
Is there an easy way to do this- easier than copying and pasting each TC one by one?

Highlight the clips you want updated, select ALL, import the ALE with the merge option for know sources. Clips will inherit all the information from the ALE – but all fields will be updated so be sure that is what you want first before doing it.
