Does the encoder have a setting for settings? Most profesional encoders will have a setting to encode sources as 0-255 or 16-235.

Deck should be set to 23.976 for a 23.976 project and 24 for a 24p project. I am assuming you are in an HD project on the Symphony. Playback should not have jitter during playback when adding 2:3 pulldown on the output.

You should be able to drag it back into place, or use the “set default” in the timeline menu.

Drag all to a sequence, decompose sequence with 10 second handles.

Select clips, go to clip meny, select “modify” and form there select source from the menu.
It is not easy to change because it can cause as many problems the other way as well!

Make sure “Safe mode” is active in the QuickTime preferences/Advanced tab.
Can you see your program when launching in MoviePlayer?

With settings active in project window, go to FILE and select new Setting file. A small window will appear. Drag the settings you want to that window. Once saved (as a .avs file), that file can be opened on all other systems and any or all dragged back to the settings on those systems.

There is in v3 for 720p/23.976. You can select NTSC or 1080 from the project format tab.
