    I shot some footage in 720/24pn on p2 – I want to transcode the footage from each card and output it to a DVCAM tape – Since I shot in 24pn I cant just change the format tab in the project window – any ideas?

    Change the format to NTSC, select resolution and transcode. Output to DVCAM with 2:3 pulldown during playout. Transcode to DV25 and you can do it over FireWire.

    Thanks for the response Michael – I dont see any options for me to change the format to NTSC – I have heard the currently there is no equivalent SD format for 720p projects in Avid. Is this true?

    There is in v3 for 720p/23.976. You can select NTSC or 1080 from the project format tab.
