Media Compsoer 3.x is suported on Vista 64 which is why I offered it as an option in the first place.

if looking at Vista I would consider Vista 64 since it will give you access to lots more RAM for the applications.

Make sure the top timecode display above the monitor is set to Source V1 and shows the timecode you are expecting.

Under the Tools menu, Video Output. That’s where you will see output and down conversion options. Select 1080i/59.94.

Yes, with Avid hardware it will output 2:3 pulldown from your 23.976p sources to 59.94i master. What system and hardware?
You certainly can edit at 59.94i wuth the pulldown included if the distribition master you need is NTSC and 1080i.

The bigger question is what do you want to do once you did your editing at home? If you exporting formats that do not have timecode, reel ID, etc, how will the finishing be done?
