    P2 import problems

    I am using P2 import function in avid and having huge problems. 1. Its doesnt recognize many of the clips and reads “no clips were found. Are you sure you selected a p2 card media directory?” When I specifically slected a P2 folder. I also imported the clips and sometimes half of a clip will go offline after impoorting the media.

    Any ideas why avid is not recognnizing the P2 media files?

    Import problems are covered pretty heavily here and on Avid’s own forums, but in general:

    1-Make sure only ONE bin and NO sequences are open.

    2-Make sure you point to the top level folder holding your P2 media. In other words you should see “CONTENTS” folder after you select.
