Why should you convert the files, send him the files and let him convert them, plenty of apps out there for converting MTS>MOV/mp4/prores

I would also make it clear the problem isn’t your sd card or editor the problem is HIS system and apple unwillingness to play well with others(FCP7 does not natively suppose AVCHD files).

Thank you for all the input. I will play with it and see what I can come up with. Luckily I have a friend who is a world class colorist so he might fix it up for me.

did u try rendering a partial clip to see if it will complete? could be running out of memory or something. or it just doesn’t like the codec and is deciding to F with you

You are in preview mode, switch to Full mode

Get one scene where you want it then give it a name(replace where it says Default toward the top) and then save it by clicking the save icon to the right. you now have a saved preset you can apply to any scene

Mike got me headed in the right direction and I created this video so the client could choose the level of saturation they liked

Saturation increases one point each second on the top 3rd of the video

i dont believe you can capture multitrack audio with Sony Vegas, you will need protools or another program that supports multitrack audio capture.
