  • Creating XML file in SVP12 from SVP11 veg

I need to create a XML or AAF file for a colorist who is going to work on a project for me in Davinci Resolve.

Problem is I am using SVP11 and it is stable and does all I need, but I cant export the file I need.

My Question is if I send someone the svp11 veg file and they open it in svp12, they wont have the source files, would they able to ‘save as’ a usable XML or AAF file

Or is there a way to do it from svp11 cuz my searches turned up a lot of dead ends

The Save as AAF feature you want is in the 32-bit version of Vegas Pro 11.0. I’m guessing you’re using the 64-bit version. Try opening your project in the 32-bit version to save as AAF.

You can have both the 64-bit and 32-bit version installed at the same time so no need for another computer. Just install the 32-bit version.
