Getting rid of background AC “humming”
Posted by Scott Sullivan on May 31, 2013 at 6:13 pmHi
Any ideas on the best way to do this in Vegas? My audio picked up a slight “hum” from the AC running in the background. Thanks

May 31, 2013 at 10:59 pmYou’ll probably need to purchase a noise reduction plug-in because AC noise is a broad spectrum and can’t be EQ’d out easily. iZotope RX2 is the best plug-in for this. Sony Noise Reduction will also do. BIAS Sound Soap 2 may still be sold by Avid after BIAS went out of business but it would also do a good job on this type of noise.
