Its likely your videos are a loss unless you want to spend more money and have someone try to get them to a playable status. It is very likely that the data is ‘scrambled’ and even if you get them to a ‘playable status’ sections will be a mess and unplayable.

I am always confused why people dont supply VIDEO samples so we can see the problem.
anyways here are my suggestions
turn on 2 pass
up the bitrate if needed
use CBR is CBR produces the results you want -
HDV 1080i is not a dvd compliant format
Not sure what the proper options are for Encore, ask in the Encore forum(if there is one)??

sony vegas under ‘Sony mxf’ in the render options

If you transcode to 4:2:2(your dslr is 4:2:0) colorspace it will give you a little more latitude for color correction/grading but not much.
If you run a Hdmi and record on Atomos Ninja or Black Magic Hyperdeck shuttle then you will be RECORDING in 4:2:2 and have a ton of latitude when grading and correcting. prepare for VERY large files

Im confused why your using the bluray interlaced render option when your videos are going to youtube.
Use the mainconcert AVC options, 1080p30 or 720p30
if you want to improve render quality use 2 pass and/or raise the average bitrate renedered -
I have an Lenovo ideapad Z570 with 4gb of ram, win7 and i7-2670 @2.2ghz, bought it in may 2012
I am happy with it and got it for about $540 on Ebay. I was not happy when I had to send it in for repair but it was under warranty and the turn around was quick. their CS was also helpful.

if its strictly compatibility with Vegas then DV
if preservation of quality is a consideration then ProresI dont have a ton of experience using prores in Vegas but most(if not all) mov files I have tried to use in Vegas have worked

DigiBeta is 10bit 4:2:2 wouldnt Prores be the better format to request?
