There should be a hardware test in the Applications> Media 100 folder.
What version of Quicktime are you using?

Could you possibly post a screen shot of the result you’re seeing?

try exporting something else. Does it happen with all exports or just this program?
Can you try running the hardware test and report the results.

I responded to you in the other thread but MC version and OS version may be helpful here.

If you’re on snow leopard I’ve seen this happen if you are not the “owner” of the Mac HD.
Get info on the MAC HD and check the permissions settings there. If you are not the “owner” it should allow you to set it this way.
