You could try just creating a new database and then see if P2CMS will read the clips.
Basically I never used the ingest function anyway, Just read the cards or folder, select which clips you want and then export to a new folder.
Alternatively you could try P2 viewer plus

Take off the unsharp mask and then see how long it takes to export.

August 6, 2012 at 10:12 pm in reply to: Desktop Video 9.6.1 problems

I also had this issue with 9.53 drivers
    https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/124/881929

9.61 fixed that but created new issues
The only format I could get to work was 1080 50i
everything else had syncing issues, weird flashes and bad audio.
    Have returned to 9.52

  • With the 9.53 drivers the video will play for a few minutes, then the video will freeze, the audio will keep playing and the play head will loop back to the beginning and continue moving down the timeline. Also getting error messages – video frame factory -cpp-233
This all happens intermittently and there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for it.
Most of the footage is in P2 format- Avcintra and Dvcpro, I havent tested with other types of footage. Turning off Blackmagic playback in preferences solves the problem, as does returning to the 9.52 drivers

Premiere pro 6.01 , Decklink Extreme and a barely adequate asus p5k deluxe with intel qx6850, 8gb Ram and GTX460 gfx

Hopes this helps to find the problem

  • Same problem here with 9.5.3 and cs6 on Windows
Also getting video frame factory -cpp-233 error, whatever that means
    Will try previous drivers

You could just upgrade your graphics card to a quadro4000 for Cuda Acceleration.
I know that when I went from a gts8800 to a gtx460 on a 2008 PC the difference was night and day

The trick with P2cms is to ignore the ingest button.
Once you have created a new database, just load your p2 cards,
Select which clips to import,go file export and follow the prompts.

I always thought it strange that Blackmagic had a 1080 25p sequence you could choose, but that it never worked. 720 25p never worked either untill a recent driver update.(this is with AVCINTRA) Don’t forget to put your edited footage back into a progressive timeline before exporting otherwise Adobe Media encoder will automatically De-interlace.
