December 5, 2021 at 3:02 amWe are a music school and have recorded all our students performances.
We are looking for a way to “Live Broadcast” the event as an “Invite Only”. Our audience will by 200-300.
What is the best way to accomplish this?
When we tried uploading to YouTube our video was blocked as some of our students were performing covertunes.

February 9, 2022 at 4:43 pmHey guys, it’s really cool that you decided to do something like this. You need to promote your creativity, that’s for sure! I can suggest something. I’m not entirely sure, but you can contact the company I use Connected iptv provider https://www.roomba.tv/. Try contacting them and see if they’d be willing to stream your art. I think then a lot of people would know about you. It would be cool! Moreover, now more and more often they want to establish contacts with musicians gaining momentum. Who knows, maybe you are future stars…

I assume you have live-streaming software? There’s free streaming software below:
As far as a streaming platform, I use Streamhoster.com There’s no blocking of music on that platform. It’s about as simple as it gets.
Good luck!

July 8, 2022 at 3:06 pmHi Mary, I guess all actual live streaming software allows you to share previously recorded video. However, OBS Studio is free, rather easy to use and quite popular. OBS is open source software that allows you to broadcast – and record – both live streams and previously recorded video with different live streaming services, like Vimeo, Facebook and Twitch.
OBS Studio became popular with streaming gamers, so don’t get de-motivated by the screaming graphics and wild effects you’ll find in many online tutorials.
An inexpensive switchboard like the ATEM Mini PRO helps smooth switching between different sources, but first spend some time getting acquainted with the OBS
Look for the instruction video’s to get you started. I’ll give you some examples of the ones I liked best.
Lots of success!
