<p><strong>TL;DR</strong> The stuff in the trash was actually a trash can from my system backup drive (created by Carbon Copy Cloner). Removing the drive caused the trash to be empty. Will reformat the BU drive.</p>

So bizarre. I have started in recovery mode and deleted the .Trash directory to no avail. When I start up, the trash is empty and then a few seconds later the folder(s) are back. I think it originally was a container.</p>
<p>I will just live with it and get back to work. But&hellip;</p>

During the holiday mad rush on spots I had two major clients request that I not use Frame.io because of downtime issues during high pressure jobs so I moved on with those clients. I will still use for some, but that bridge has been broken for those two.</p>

That suggests to me that your PP installation is damaged, not the project. </p>
<p>Can you open other projects? (make a copy first).</p>
<p>If that works then the suggestion of importing timelines into a new project is a good suggestion.</p>

<p>I get &#8220;The operation can’t be completed because the item “_EveScripts” is in use.&#8221; error.</p>

<p>I have checked permissions. Tried delete  immediately, started in recovery mode to turn off SIP. It won&#8217;t delete.</p>

(Edit in PP and colorist uses Resolve.)</p>
<p>When I would get graded clips back (with 1 second heads and tails) I would put them into PP but sometimes I could never get the speed change to match frame for frame. I would do a difference matte when&hellip;</p>

<p>But YoYatta can read TAR tapes (on Intel Macs) and we were able to do that. </p>
<p>But we discovered that putting LTO-5 tapes in our LTO-7 library had a tendency to wear out or clog the heads, so when we did use that method, we needed to have our library serviced. </p>

<p>Yes nesting is a workaround but I try to avoid nesting unless I really need it. (helps with other workflows, render time and dealing with various social resolutions and aspect ratios) </p>
<p>I only see this when I am placing a different resolution clip into the timeline. (lower or higher resolution)</p>

Sequence 1920&#215;1080. Take a 4k clip and put it on the timeline. Then apply transform effect. Do a zoom from 200% to 50%. Render, all looks ok. The turn on motion blur in the transform effect. 180 shutter or greater. Then render. For some reason the image now is no longer centered. Has been this way for years.</p>

<p>This reminds me of Vimeo days. Their upload/compression worked great until it didn&#8217;t. Many a time I was sitting for a few hours waiting for the file to finalize. 5 at night, 6, 7, 8&#8230;</p>
<p>This was why I left Vimeo. </p>
<p>Now it seems to be that frame.io doesn&#8217;t really have the horsepower to keep&hellip;</p>

I still am on Premiere half the time for various reasons. A little frustrating jumping back and forth between the two because of the keyboard layout (yes I know I can change but prefer to keep them separate.)</p>

Finally just moved all media into the Project folder.</p>
<p>One other thing to look at &#8220;ignore ownership on this volume&#8221; on the flash drive info screen. (Select the drive Command-I)</p>

<p>I know it sounds like I am nitpicking but there are USB cables (with USB C connectors) out there that are not high speed. </p>

<p>Then make sure you don&#8217;t see the error when playing the sequence. </p>
<p>Then export a Quicktime &#8212; Choose Quicktime as the format, then in the preset drop down choose&hellip;</p>

<p>Is not a problem with 16&#215;9. </p>

<p>One thing to try is open a new project (empty) then import the old project by using import function and point to old project file and select the &#8220;entire project&#8221; option on the popup. </p>

One thing I do now (although messy) is to always store the proxies in the same folder as the project file. Since I started doing that it has happened to me. (Now if I could solve the Auto LUT bug)</p>

<p><a target='_blank' href="http://frame.io/" rel="noopener" rel="nofollow">Frame.io</a> being thrown into the Adobe ocean I think that will go away. </p>
<p>I use PP, AE and <a target='_blank' href="http://frame.io/" rel="noopener" rel="nofollow">Frame.io</a> everyday. While there have been some times when <a target='_blank' href="http://frame.io/" rel="noopener" rel="nofollow">Frame.io</a> has been down for a few hours and even a day, I have not thought of changing from <a target='_blank' href="http://frame.io/" rel="noopener" rel="nofollow">Frame.io</a></p>

No fonts are reported as missing. But when I highlight some text the font family box in the Character panel is empty. The font looks slightly different (mostly kerning). Opening on another machine does not have this problem. The font is Futura (bold). I am thinking it is a font conflict. The&hellip;</p>
