If you have dynamic link, why are you rendering it as a DVD file from Premiere Pro ??? Why not bring it into After Effects, apply the film magic pro, then use the dynamic link to bring the AE comp into Premiere Pro, then create the DVD…less codecs, better quality.

I get pretty good results using AVI-microsoft DV as my setting. It will play fine on most computers. Also, as previously mentionned, render without fields.

I would have to nominate Aharon Rabinowitz (spelling). This guy shares so much of his time creating podcasts for After Effects.
I saw first hand the effect Aharon has on people when I worked the booth at NAB. A lot of people went out of their way to come over…when Aharon was there they all expressed their grattitude, most of them by telling him that they now can use After Effects because of Aharon.

Mine installed right…..I would give Adobe a call….they should assist you for free as this is an installation issue.

Get unmult from Red Giant Software…it is free and will take care of this for you. (Knoll umnult).

I think that it is part of the edit effects from Eyewire. We also have this and as previously stated it used with a transfer mode.

Also alienware makes some mean machines.
Have you also looked at having the machine built ? Find a shop in town that specializes in video. I had my machine built by a dealer here in Montreal. I found their name on the Avid site as a recommended reseller. Together we specced out the machine and then they built it….I couldn’t have been happier.

Playing with the length and direction should get you there. Also duplicating the layer and adding the rays to the duplicate then using something like add as the transfer mode.
