We usually FTP our trailers or promos we compress them to about 15mb and they lok ok. ALternately u could find one of those video posting sites on the internet and make the settings private. But yeah FTp is usually the best way and the most private. A client happy? Or patient? NEVER!!!

It was an export from a sequence problem. BTW after doing some net research i found out that omf exports have a 2gb file limit. So i split my reels from 15-20min reels to 10 10min reels. A hassle but atleast it is fixed. Would of been nice if AVID had put that info in the help section…

Hmmm so does your project actually open and the “corrupt” clips are offline or does FCP prevent the project atually opening. I had a problem where the fcp project wouldn’t open after i had moved it around a couple of systems.. I got my last autosave of the project and opened it that it worked fine, lost a bit of work but not the whole project. Hope that helps.

For Option2 – Make a white color matte that fades up and down. Put the matte above whatever u want to overexpose and change the composite mode to “add”.
