We had a problem with one of our Macs and were moving some files around. Now
when I open up a Final Cut Project it says unable to read, files have been corupted. All of the clips and everything are still there under FCP Doc. But does anyone know why FC cannot open them up anymore. What shoud I do? Thanks alot.

Hmmm so does your project actually open and the “corrupt” clips are offline or does FCP prevent the project atually opening. I had a problem where the fcp project wouldn’t open after i had moved it around a couple of systems.. I got my last autosave of the project and opened it that it worked fine, lost a bit of work but not the whole project. Hope that helps.

It doesn’t allow me to open ANY FCP projects. Our techs tried to reinstall the program. I have a feeling that something is missing and I will not be able to open this particular project again, unless maybe i move it to another computer. Yeah I tried the latest auto save file but still, no access. Thanks anyway. Let me know if you have any other ideas.
