Exception: ‘Sys_Error’
Hi all i am having problems exporting OMFs both 1.0 and 2.0. from my avid xpress pro. the first 15 minute reel worked fine but the other four 15 minute reels go all the way through but at the last minute of the export a dialog window comes up saying:
Exception: ‘Sys_Error’
An error occured during export.
All other exports work fine except the OMF exports for these reels. Anyone come across this before or have a solution???

Are you exporting a sequence or clips? video or audio or both? -
It was an export from a sequence problem. BTW after doing some net research i found out that omf exports have a 2gb file limit. So i split my reels from 15-20min reels to 10 10min reels. A hassle but atleast it is fixed. Would of been nice if AVID had put that info in the help section…
