Hi,

Dropped frame refers to the way timecode is counted and does not actually ‘drop’ a frame in the video. The number of frames in a dropped frame video sequence is exactly the same as the number of frames in a non-dropped frame sequence given that both have identical content.

No, 720p down conversion is not support while the Multibridge Extreme is in standalone mode.

Hi,

1) No, the 30″ display requires a Dual Link DVI-D connection and you’ll need the Multibridge Extreme.

2) Yes, the output resolution is still confined to standard TV / HD resolutions.

3) The Multibridge Extreme has more bandwidth to push out 2K in real time. The Multibridges can also function as standalone converters.
