Hi Keith,

Thanks for the heads up. Ive checked this out and it is indeed happening. What is going on is that Final Cut Pro is taking the sound inputs preferences from the OS X Sound preference pane. If you set the System Preferences > Sound to use DeckLink Audio, the Capture Presets will then be correct.

We will indeed address this in the next update.

The digital audio outputs of the DeckLink Extreme is 2 channels only.

HDLink Pro will have hardware 3D LUTS.

Hi,

The feature works by starting a reverse pulldown cadence starting on the A frame. This works together with the actually 3:2 pull down so that the right frames get removed on captured.

If you do a batch capture, your ‘A’ frame may not be consistent which is why the reverse pulldown gets mangled.

Hi,

ProRes is an Apple codec and we capture to it just like any other codecs available in Final Cut Pro (such as DVCPRO HD). All our capture products support ProRes, even the $249 Intensity card.

Hello,

The Multibridges are PCIe only and will not work with your machine.

The only HD solution we have for the PCI-X G5s is the DeckLink HD Pro PCI-X card. This will work with your Digibeta as well as any HD decks that have HD-SDI output. Unfortunately, it does not have analogue inputs and will not work with your BetacamSP deck.

Hi Roger,

Are you getting the No Video Input message? What about 8-bit NTSC?

Could you double check by trying to capture with the Blackmagic Deck Control application and see if you’re able to capture?
