Hi,

When capturing from the XBox 360 Elite’s HDMI output, there should be no HDMI on gaming output, only on movie content output. PS3, on the other hand, encrypts the HDMI output regardless of the type of content.

If you’re planning to capture analog video from the Xbox 360, make sure you switch the input of the Intensity card to analog video. This option is in the Intensity Control Panel in Windows and the System Preferences on the Mac.

This is indeed an issue. I think it has to do with different RGB gamma handling in Final Cut Pro and we’re still investigating.

Intensity Pro will not do simultaneous HD and SD output.

Hi,

I’ve tested capturing the output from graphics card in a Mac Pro, Macbook Pro as well as a Windows PC with an Nvidia grpahics card (not sure of the model). The main thing is to ensure that your graphics card is able to output a tv type resolution. On the Mac, these resolution will show up when the Intensity card is connected via a DVI-HDMI adapter, likewise on the PC. This means that your graphics card will have 1920×1080 and 1280×720 resolutions.

We currently do have plans for Linux support but we are keeping our ears (and eyes) open. We did have something in the pipeline a long time ago but that was shelved due to the lack of interest from customers.
