    Hi,

This is probably because the etxended desktop window is not an optimised display unlike that from a graphics card and some applications such as the inbuilt DVD player requires you to use the output of your graphics card.

Could be a bad card. Have you contacted tech support? They will be able to sort you out.

    Hi Matt,

To use the new ProRes 4444 codec, you’ll need to wait for a driver update from us to support the new features in FCP7. This will allow your to output ProRes 4444 via Dual link HD-SDI as an RGB 444 HD signal to HDCAM-SR.

Yes, the initial driver is Snow Leopard specific. However, the next driver release will support both Leopard and Snow Leopard.

Further to that, if you are to go the 2 card route, you’ll need to ensure that the application you use supports it. Our drivers support multiple cards on one single motherboard but most off the shelf applications may not.

    September 1, 2009 at 10:30 pm in reply to: HDlink PRO –> Eizo CG242w — 50hz ?

    Hi,

This is because the monitor is reporting 60Hz as the preferred framerate via EDID with HDLink Pro and that’s why HDLink Pro is sending it. There’s currently no way to over-ride this.

    Hi,

Can we have more information? We have D5s in our QA labs they pose no issues. What exactly do you mean by it not working? Which Blackmagic Design product do you have?

    Hi Ben,

Did you get in touch with our support guys about this issue?

What is the format of video you’re sending to Ultrascope? 1080? 720?
    What frame rate is it?

    regards
