    hello,

does anybody from europe has the same setup?

    HDSDI (1080i50 or p25 or pal) –> HDlink PRO –> Eizo CG242w

no 50 hz in monitor is detected, so motions are shuttering…

720p50 is detected with 50 hz.

EDID override in HDlink PRO not possible because of the hardware of the HDlink pro…

So it is not possible to view 50hz formats correctly with this setup?
Maybe somebody can inform me about this issue…

    thanks

    Hi,

This is because the monitor is reporting 60Hz as the preferred framerate via EDID with HDLink Pro and that’s why HDLink Pro is sending it. There’s currently no way to over-ride this.

    Hello Kristian,

but what is going on when a 720p50 signal is sent?
then the monitor switches to 50hz…

why is a manual overide not possible with the HDlink pro?
the older HDlink works with that feature…

do you work on this issue?
    whats about Eizo?

whats going on with framerates like 1080p25 and 1080i50?
    whats about 576i?

never possible for the HDlink pro and the Eizo CG242w???

    very very frustrating…
then please send me an old HDlink!

This has to do with EDID negotiation between the HDLink Pro and the monitor. The monitor is tell HDLink Pro that it’s preferred frame rate for 1920×1080 is 60Hz so HDLink sends that to it.
