Hi,

7.2.6 is Snow Leopard specific. If you’re not using Snow Leopard as your OS, then stick to the previous version. The next driver release will work on both Leopard and Snow Leopard.

Hi Bwana,

This is not possible a composite connection does not support HD video. It does not have the necessary bandwidth. To monitor HD video in analog, you have to use component video.

Hi George,

If you’re using a Colorsync profile, it will only be loaded by the OS only in extended desktop mode as it is seen as a computer monitor. The moment you use any video application that sends output via the cards, those profiles no longer work.

Hi Rick,

You can crop the output to HD or you if you have the right equipment hookup, monitor the entire 2K 2048×1556 frame without the need to crop on a 30″ monitor.

The hookup will be:

HD EXtreme -> HDLink Pro -> Dell / Apple / HP 30″ display

This will allow full 2K monitoring at full 23.98,24 and 25 frame rate at 2048×1556. Why crop when you can see everything 🙂

Have you tried send it a 29.97PsF signal? What happens when you do? It should support it but some SDI streams may not have the right data to indicate that it’s 29.97PsF and as such, Ultrascope may say it’s 59.94i
