Hi,

To uninstall the drivers, just use the Add/Remove program feature in Control Panel. To be doubly sure, you can go into the registry and remove entries related to DeckLink. However, that’s not really necessary unless you run into problems.

The image adjustment options only adjust the image area since that’s what we’re drawing the video to. We do not affect the areas outside the active video.

We have the DeckLink HD Pro (4:4:4) that is in PCI-X. This will work in your PCI-X Power Mac G5.

The new HD Pro PCIe will not work in your Mac so make sure you get the correct one.

Sorry I missed out on your earlier post.

Can you confirm which version of DeckLink drivers you have installed? If you’re not on the latest, please upgrade and see if it helps.

The DeckLink Extreme will work in a 32 bit PCI slot even though we would recommned a 64 bit PCI-X for performance.

Do you have any other PCI cards you have installed? If so, try yanking them out.

Use the Apple Uncompressed 4:2:2 codec at 8 or 10 bits. This is the dfault we use when youy configure your project using our easy setups (Final Cut Pro > Easy Setups)

Hi,

Are you sure you’re using a DeckLink Pro and not a DeckLink HD Pro? The DeckLInk Pro is only a standard Definition card.

If you’re indeed a DL HD Pro, then what you’re seeing is actually correct behaviour. HDLink does not scale your video to fit the size of the display since it displays pixel-for-pixel the HD image. If you’re playing out 720p HD on a 1080 display, it will only take up 1280×720 pixels.

What is the make and model of your HD monitor? What connections are you using, component or SDI?

Hi,

Open up the Display Preferences and click on “Gather windows”. This will being the ‘Television’ display pane into your Mac screen. Check that the resolution is set to one compatible with your NTSC monitor, i.e. not HD.
