  • HDLink Dell 2405 adjust image?

I’ve been using an HDLink2 to run a Dell 2405. My problem is that I can’t adjust the contrast and some other image settings on the Dell when I have it hooked up to the HDLink. I’m usually working in 720p and the image all around the 1280x720p isn’t black but a dark grey, and I can see banding in the grey on the sides of where the image is projected, and flashes above and below. I really need to adjust the contrast of the monitor. I tried adjusting the HDLink settings, but that only changes the projected image, not the area around it that’s suppossed to be pure black. Anyone know how?

    I’m using the 2.2 firmware.

    Hi,

The image adjustment options only adjust the image area since that’s what we’re drawing the video to. We do not affect the areas outside the active video.

I know others are using this combo, so does anyone else have advice for how to increase the contrast of the Dell monitor when in DVI mode??

I’m interested in this as well. Also, has anyone developed a decent HDLink LUT for this monitor to get it as close as possible to a CRT?
