I am planning to keep my dual processor 2Ghz G5 and still would like to get a Decklink card capable of 4:4:4 uncompressed capture and all. Is there still going to be a card available for mine G5 or do the newer PCIe cards work on my PCIx G5, or is it Kona for me now?

    Hi,

We have the DeckLink HD Pro (4:4:4) that is in PCI-X. This will work in your PCI-X Power Mac G5.

The new HD Pro PCIe will not work in your Mac so make sure you get the correct one.

    regards

    Kristian,

Thanks for the response. To be clear about what is going to remain available for PCI-X macs, which cards are going to continue to be available going forward.
