    hello everyone

We have a Grphx suite running
    quad G5
    4 x 2.5 Ghertz
    2 gig sdram
    OS 10.4. 6
Nivida ge force 6600 grphx card
decklink hd pr pci-express video card

we just purchased the decklink hd pro pci express video card.
ran all the tests (capture/tape layoff/mointor preview) with our digibeta/machine room
    and it all worked great.

    THE PROBLEM IS:
yesterday we installed a new 30″ apple display for our CPU and we lost our NTSC destop preview.
When you open FCP 5 or After effects it all works fine, but when the apps. are closed and your
on the finder the NTSC monitor just shows static.
    what the deal?

    thanks
    chad

    Hi,

Open up the Display Preferences and click on “Gather windows”. This will being the ‘Television’ display pane into your Mac screen. Check that the resolution is set to one compatible with your NTSC monitor, i.e. not HD.

    regards
