Don’t bother exporting the entire sequence, set your work area to just the tail 30 seconds and export that to see if it is the tail or something else in the file that is causing problems.
You are troubleshooting which means you need to isolate variables until you find out exactly what is causing the problem so you can fix it.
Encoding the whole sequence again hoping that it will turn out differently would be defined by some as insanity. Especially if it is going to set you back 5 hours
good luck.

June 3, 2013 at 1:39 pm in reply to: Adobe Media Encoder “can’t read the file from the source”How did you “export option go? My guess is that it wouldn’t have made any difference if you regular workflow was to select the export option, adjust your settings and the click queue instead of export. Both methods use the same engine.
Not to sound like an elitist, but you USB drive may be the culprit. I would move the entire project over to a driver on faster BUS with possibly a faster disc speed and make sure that you drive is not full before you go to encode.

You could key frame the move but it might not give you the effect your looking for because of the natural camera movements. Your best bet would be to add edits at th in and out points of you move and send the clip to after effects with dynamic link . Once there you can add your txt layer and make the move with the motion tracker.
If you are not familiar with the tracker there are many great tutorials here on the cow that will get you pointed in the right direction . Good luck

It would help immensely if you could share the formats. There is a Log And transfer utility that you can use to transcode both formates into pro res.
FCP does not play well with mixed formats in the timeline

Yes, it is a bad raid controller and has nothing to do with your NLE. Also you should never let your production drives get more than 80% full. And oh yeah make sure you back everything up ASAP

Are you sure that there is nothing after the work area. Or have you checked the box that asks to export the work area only.
AME will not add blank space video to the end of your sequence.

May 31, 2013 at 12:20 pm in reply to: Exporting a flash file from premiere that needs to be 30 mb and is 30 mins. longAlvin, you should check with your client about deliverable specs and show them what a 320×240 file looks like at that low of data rate. Are they looking for FLV or SWF?
Short answers is you are not going to fit 1mb per min into an encode.

The short answer is no. There is no library included, however is you have Soundtrack pro you can still use it to create loops or export aiff files.

Both Ryan and Ann are spot on. Something else to consider as well is using CBR for shorter duration programs and also experimenting with the bit rate settings to optimize your file size and maintain a good balance between encoding time and quality.
Just because you can encode at 20Mbps doesn’t mean that you should or even need to.

The DB25 breakout is for audio ingest only. There is no analog audio out option on the ioXT. Do you are in the same boat either way.
Your only solution with either o those Is to disembed the audio from the SDI or the HDMI
