  • How to convert video formats in final cut 7

Hello. I have two different video formats from camera footage and imported them into final cut.
When I tried to use multicamera editing the system complained the formats were different.
Can I convert a video format into another in final cut 7 ?
Is there an application that can do that ?

It would help immensely if you could share the formats. There is a Log And transfer utility that you can use to transcode both formates into pro res.

FCP does not play well with mixed formats in the timeline
