  • I hope that helps, see example.

  • You can create a new title and then add shapes to it. Make your title background black. So you have white shapes and a black background. Put this title on layer 4 (or wherever) just above the video layers and apply a luma key to it. Set your threshold to 0 and your cutoff to 100 and you will essentially have created a shape matte to mask your videos.

Be aware that many cards that have the same model #’s may have MAC and PC editions. I would stick with the already mentioned hardware Quadro FX 4800 and Quadro 4000.

The time you will save yourself by using these cards will greatly offset the $ you will save by buying a less than capable GFX card

What bit rate are you using for your compression? I would start troubleshooting by taking a smal 10 sec clip of the area that looks the worst and play around with your compression settings.

You can also choose “Replace with Clip.. from source monitor if it is loaded in the source window. This would be the quickest method I have found and a very useful tool for quickly replacing txt elements ect.

Highlight the clip you want in the bin. Then Ctrl clk on the clip in the sequence to bring up the pull down menu and choose replace clip and choose “clip from bin”

Yes it does. Open PPro and press F1. This will take you to the e-manual

Are you trying to get 965 pixels wide because that is the requested delivery spec or for some other reason?

My first though is that is not divisible by 2 which would give you and extra , line, so to speak. Media encoder to the best of my knowledge will not allow this.

I’m going to take a guess here, since I do no work in true 3D post, that the U3D is not looking for similarities in the image but rather a genlocked signal. This is why it may have worked coming from the switcher fed by a single camera. 3G SDI level B requires this genlocked signal as well.

Maybe start there and see what you can come up with.

  • I wish it did, maybe time to upgrade.
