thanks for the lead. We use a mix here at the shop more so for connectivity than anything else. The BM US3d was purchased in place of the IoXT because it was available.
I think this is more of a system issue than a BM codec problem and I will hopefully get to the bottom of it sooner than later. I am just out of the starting gate in creating 52+ user tutorials for our products as well as marketing ect.

I should have put that in my post. I am using BM Desktop Video 9.0.
This is not just a problem when using a BM sequence preset. I am experiencing inconsistant playback behavior overall and I would hate to have to re install the software because it took me 4 times of installing, uninstalling, and re installing CS5.5 before I was able to even open Premiere Pro without it crashing.
When troubleshooting that issue Adobe support basically confirmed that the software opened in the root user, which it did, so the rest is up to me to figure out.
The BM settings perform the worst out off all the sequence presets I have needed to use. Fortunately my workflow does not require me to use the BM settings all the time.

That is a great suggestion, but, I do not have the “Precision mode” option in my system prefs for the tablet.

Have you attempted using Encore? This is not a workflow that I have ever used ie. PPro to iDVD and I haven’t used iDVD for last 7+ years because I had a different workflow, even for quick one offs.
I would suggest taking your file into adobe media encoder and compress it there for DVD output and then burn it in Encore or even DVDSP if you’d rather.

The single layer DVD data storage limit is only 4.7Gigs. You .mov is too large. I would recommend keeping the .mov file size under 4.5Gb for sufficient headroom for burning data, menus, ect

2nd Tom’s advice. Best done in AE if you are at all familiar with it otherwise it is not really what PPro is made for.

Composite in AE by motion tracking and masking the bead area, the composite over a layer with the key

BTW I am using the Adobe Story Beta application that came bundled with Production Premium CS5.5 and not the web portal.

What are your final output specs? Is it going to web or broadcast? Is your “TV” a progressive LCD or interlaced CRT Monitor?
Try to export a 10sec test to your output spec and view it on a reference of what your final should be viewed on and see if you still have issues. If you do than some more troubleshooting is in order.
Agreed that in order to not have those problems pop up, you should avoid introducing patterns that could potentially lead to moire in the first place.

I am using it for script creation on a large project and it is as functional as I need it to be in regards to formatting and navigation. There is virtually no learning curve if you are familiar with any word processing app. I like the cloud based engine which also allows you to work offline.
The only thing that I could use that is not included with the software is sharing entire projects with a group, at the moment you can only share individual scripts within a project , and, for some reason when STORY is open my cpu fans ramp to full speed.
