  • Hi Fred,

I opened the attached file and made some changes to the text but what you mentioned did not happen to me, I hope you could record the screen to make the issue more clearer.

You’re welcome, Mauricio! So your mesh color was dark, that’s why I said it wasn’t supposed to look like that because other colors are more common and easier to work with, but honestly I don’t know if there’s another way to radically overcome this.

    Hi Mauricio,

Although the model is dark, it shows lines (albeit slightly faded) that show the details of the mesh. However, this is not how it is supposed to look when coloring the weight. I don’t know if it is like this for you in all models or only with this one. If this only happened to you after moving to the new version, there may be a feature activated somewhere that makes the display like this.

  • Hi Elly,

I think you’ll find in the tutorial below the principle of creating something similar using joints, collider and soft body tag, I hope this is useful to you.

    Hi Tom,

I know you’re still trying to improve your cutting technique by making materials transparent, but I recently saw Tutorial using another technique we didn’t talk about in the previous discussion, which is using C4D Voronoi Fracture Slices. I’ve put the Tutorial link below and you’ll find the project file in the description box. I hope this helps you.

I don’t have exact information about this, but just a guess from previous experiences. I think that when the pressure is enormous, the program stops even before it can issue a warning. In some critical cases, the entire computer crashes until you stop and restart it. The device may even be damaged, as I saw it happen to a user who was working as part of a team on a huge stadium project that was scheduled to host an important sporting event. Therefore, I think that the matter is not a cause for concern.

Oh! 10 kilometers, that’s too much! maybe the units in the project were in kilometers, anyway glad you figure out the problem, calculating simulation data for such a long distance in a limited number of time frames, so each frame might be hundreds of meters of simulation, would have definitely caused Cinema 4D crash as it happened to you, thank you very much for sharing with us, this will certainly be useful to many users.
