Option+select with the Selection or Track Select tool, then press Option+Up or Down arrow keys. If you want to drag, they remain at 0:00 sync by default.Thanks,

According to our support agents, more issues happen on Mavericks if you update the OS rather than doing a clean installation. Do a clean installation if at all possible.https://mashable.com/2013/10/23/clean-install-os-x-mavericks/

Hi Leonard,
I did that by stacking up two identical clips and cropping the desired object on V2. Then add a Fast CC effect and made an adjustment to brighten it.Would that work?
