I’ve learned how to make a circular spotlight in Premiere Pro 6. But I can’t see how to make a rectangular spotlight to highlight something like a sentence on a document. I can do this in FCP because that shape exits as a choice, but I can only find a circle in the Premiere effects. Even when I type in square or rectangle to search for the effect, nothing comes up. Anyone know how to do this?

    Hi Leonard,
I did that by stacking up two identical clips and cropping the desired object on V2. Then add a Fast CC effect and made an adjustment to brighten it.

    Would that work?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Good idea. Let me try it. What do you mean by a Fast CC effect?
